This RV park is just south of Carthage, MO. We have stayed here before and have found it in good order with friendly management each time. Sites were level, trees are nicely placed. Utilities and cable access were in good condition.

This RV park is located within the city of Las Cruces, not far from highway 70. The park's street sign is hard to read from the road. The access roads within the park were very wide. All sites were long and level. Many sites had grassy areas or concrete patios. All utilities were new. The owner lives in the park and is very conscientious about its upkeep. (The gravel was leveled daily while we were there). They keep 20 sites available for overnight RVers; other sites are long-term. Extra shrubbery and trees made this a nice park to stay for several nights. We might consider it as a long-term winter park.

This RV park is located right behind a newer Wal-Mart (think the park was there first as it has KOA-style buildings). Signage to find the park from Highways 70/287 was helpful. The sites were not laid out well; the manager led us to our site and it was a good thing: otherwise, it was hard to figure out their numbering. It was handy off the highways that run through Vernon, and there was a good catfish/BBQ restaurant within 2 miles.

This was a good RV park for an overnight stay. It is close to the Eastern New Mexico Fairgrounds (happening while we were here, but we were able to get a site). Manager was friendly and helpful. The pull-through site was long enough to keep our tow car attached. The fenced-in area for pets was very small but there were other areas to use for pet-walking.

This KOA is being developed on the same grounds as a new LaQuinta Inn - a Sleep Inn and Denny's were nearby and of the same style architecture. All sites are rock but that's expected in the Southwest. We keep being reminded that what we think of as a level site isn't what's available - flat doesn't mean level for making sure refrigerators, etc. run correctly. The bathrooms and shower stalls were individualized and nice, but rather far from most campsites. We did not notice much road noise, but were right off I-40. They supposedly had 2 dog runs, but the longer of the two wasn't totally fenced. The young man who took my phone reservation and checked me in was less than enthusiastic about his job and was hard to understand.

KOA has taken over the RV park area next to Cherokee Casino/Will Rogers Downs horse track east of Claremore. The registration is inside the casino. When we stayed here, there was heavy rain. The sites drained fairly well; they are working to add grass and some landscaping features to the sites and of course those areas were muddy. Utilities at the site were up-to-date. The casino's bar had good sandwiches. This is a convenient RV park for visiting the track or for visiting Claremore: 3 miles away.

This is a nice, well laid-out campground with wide asphalt drives and wide turns. The sites are all rock but are firm and graded. The utility posts are well positioned and new. The sites are very wide and include a picnic table. The restrooms and showers are some of the nicest we have ever seen. There are (2) nice fenced dog runs. The management was very nice and helpful. The site was easy to get to off I-40 and not very noisy. If there was a negative it is because the sites are all rock. However since it seldom rains here this is likely the best solution. We would stay here again.

This campground is conveniently located right off Highway 101. It is easy to get into Crescent City from this KOA or go to points north on Highways 101 or 199. The office, restrooms, and showers have been decently maintained. The sites have newer utilities, but are poorly laid out and are very close together. The camper cabins and tent sites get the opposite treatment: they were beautifully located in the midst of a great grove of giant redwoods. There is a nice fenced-in pet area and a playground with equipment.

This RV park is located across the access road from Marina State Beach. The park has somewhat of a narrow entrance (heed the "wide turn" sign!). Sites are terraced in two wings. Each site has a small patio and has trees/shrubs as privacy efforts. The sites are all back-in with a small amount of space to park a tow vehicle. The staff is friendly. They helped us promptly when we had an electrical problem at our site. They are upgrading the office area and adding a playground area. The park provides very handy access to the many activities available on the Monterey Peninsula. We would return to this park.

This was a very nice park and one of the best KOAs we've experienced. It is well suited to kids and families. The pool, hot tub, and kids' water play area were very nice. Everything was well maintained and clean. The park is done in a western theme. They also have a frisbee golf area. The sites are a bit short for a pull-through. The roads are a bit narrow and drivers need to pay attention to fence rails and other cars/ rv's. Some of the best sites appeared to be the back-in ones with more room for your RV and car. Be sure to turn the right direction when leaving - the road to Mendocino has very few turn-around spots if you meant to head east!

Sites were clean and mostly level with rock pads. New electric, water and sewer pedestals had been installed. Grounds were well mowed, landscaped and nicely maintained. There were nice areas for walking pets. It is close to I-90 but we did not notice much road noise. The campground is on the same frontage road with a decent restaurant and gas station. Discount coupons were given for both places once registered at the campground. Office staff was helpful in providing directions and provided area literature.

This campground is conveniently located close to Corvallis and for Oregon State events. It is very close to both a highway and an active train line so those noises are noticeable. The pull-through sites need to be longer; if there had been many more campers using our row of sites, we would have had to unhook the car to have a clear road. On the positive side, restrooms were clean, staff was friendly, and blackberry bushes were abundantly full in September.

This is a campground for local workers and is mostly full time RV sites. The sites are too short for a 38' RV with a tow car to pull into. The sites are horribly unlevel and so narrow we could hardly open our slideouts. Upkeep is questionable and the owners have not spent any upkeep money since the 70's! However, the staff was helpful and pleasant to work with. We would likely not stay here again.

This is a wonderful campground with a wonderful layout. There are large trees for shade with large open areas for children and pets to play. The campground is monitored and picked up each day by the staff of volunteers. There is access to the river and the Hood Canal. We watched deer and elk walk through the park.

This RV park had a fairly pleasant appearance, especially in the front 3 rows, with poured slabs and landscaped plants. All sites could not be considered as true pull-throughs, where one's tow car could stay attached. Signage and access roads were fine. The utilities at the site we were assigned were quite old, on a broken concrete slab. Our slab for the RV was asphalt and somewhat uneven. Full-time RV sites and mobile homes were nearby and pretty careworn. It puzzled us as to why the nicer front sites weren't being assigned. Directions and paperwork for late check-in and payment were complete, but no management person was on site after 5 PM.

I think this campground has been reopened or recently renovated. All facilities are new at this writing (pool, office, dog run, utilities connections, cabins). The roads and sites are all rock. The sites are not as level as they might be, and some effort is needed to get level. We were in need of a campsite en route to the Grand Canyon, called at 8AM and the manager was very helpful in getting us in early. He also was helpful with information for the town of Williams. The campground is handy if driving on I-40 and you wish to go to the Grand Canyon (50 miles north). They have a nice fenced dog run also.

This is a large rock parking lot with small common areas beside each RV. The beach is about 500 yards away via a path through the sea grass. The sites are level, large enough for the slideouts and a place to park your car. The staff took us to the site and helped us park. The office staff was pleasant and helped with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. We will likely stay here again.

This campground is on the northeast edge of town and easy to find from two highways. The sites are level, poured concrete with an extra patio space. The manager was pleasant and very helpful with side trip information for the area. Pets have a small fenced-in "playground". This campground has its own restaurant which closes after Sept. 1 so we couldn't try it out. This is a first-rate place.

This is another over-priced, under-maintained KOA. The setting on the Yakima River and the close proximity to I-90 is good. However, the roads are narrow, the branches need to be trimmed and the sites are squeezed together. There is very old signage on each site as well as ancient electric and water pedestals show the age. Extra grounds where pets could be walked (but it wasn't labeled) were really scroungy. I couldn't place a reservation earlier in the day by phone because no one answered (on Labor Day) and once arriving, the office employee was disinterested in making anyone feel welcome.

The owners have worked on upgrades, including new bathhouses, grass in common areas and playgrounds, new fencing, and new utility poles at sites. They have perhaps eliminated some sites to achieve roominess for others, but the site we were in was still a pretty cramped area. It was a very narrow distance between our slide out and the next unit's area. The staff was friendly with directions to highways and area restaurants. They stated that they are doing another year's worth of improvements. This CG is several miles up a canyon road, but the road is good.

This campground is located close to the Missouri River and to DeSoto Bend Wildlife Refuge. The Bertrand Museum (sunken paddleboat sternwheeler) is at the nearby Visitors Center. Campsites are spacious in a park with many tall cottonwood trees. Campground host was a volunteer and was very friendly and helpful. The Council Bluffs area is 20-25 miles away.

The park was well maintained, very open and expansive. The park staff was helpful. Most of the sites were reasonably level gravel. The sites are large with a nice view of the Black Hills. Everything is far enough from the roads that only occasional noise is heard. This is a good campground for families, groups, or RVing older couples as they have appropriate spaces for everybody. There is plenty of room to walk dogs or have kids play and ride bikes.

This campground is close to Highway 16, and is composed of regular sites plus additional smaller sites in a separate well-shaded area. Wildlife is nearby: deer and wild turkeys wandered through the campground edges. There is a grass walking path available. Campground is close to Buffalo amenities. Most pull-through sites were fairly level and on gravel pads. This is a well-kept older campground but needs continued modernization.

This used to be a KOA but has dropped membership. It appears to have a few full-time sites but everything is nicely kept. Sites were reasonably level rock. The campground has very nice bathrooms and individual shower rooms. Also has a nice laundry and rec-hall with a large screen TV. It is in a quiet area but not far off the main highway.

This campground is on the west edge of town, right off the highway, but highway noise is not a problem at night. Cottonwood trees provide shade to some sites. The office, restrooms and showers are in one building: well-maintained and recently painted. Sites are gravel, pull-through and reasonably level. This is our 2nd time to stay here and we would stay here again. There aren't many RV parks in northwest Nebraska!

Large, level sites border on the east side of Storm Lake. A swimming beach, boat ramp, and dock are part of the campground's amenities. Large cottonwood trees shade some sites. A bike path into town borders the campground. A large city park is on the north side of the campground. We would stay here again.

Miller Riverview Park is well maintained by the City of Dubuque. All campsites are within 250 feet of the Mississippi River. Tall trees provide shade for many sites. The city bike trail runs along the campground. Dubuque's Greyhound Park (dog racing and casino) is next door. It's also close to Lock and Dam 11 and Eagle Point Park for great river viewing. TV reception is very limited.

Howell Station is located at the base of the dam at Lake Red Rock, an Army COE park. The sites are spacious, well-maintained and level. There are nice playground areas, tall trees, and extra grassy parklike areas. The Volksweg Bike Trail runs through the park. Fishing in the tailwaters and river is available from the campground. The town of Pella is 5 miles away. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is part of the Cottonwood Inn on the east side of Glasgow. All sites are level, gravel, pull-through, and well maintained. There is a recently-built shower and restroom building. The motel has a restaurant and small lounge/casino (which wasn't smoky!). The campground was within walking distance of other eating places along Highway 2 in Glasgow. We would stay here again.

It has easy interstate access. It is close to shopping and dining in town. Access to the campground is on a mile long well maintained gravel road. The park is well laid out and well maintained. The staff was helpful both in the office and guiding to campsite. The power posts are new with 30 and 50 amp services. There are a lot of trees that are trimmed. The sites are mostly level and long enough for big rigs- 38 feet with a tow vehicle.

The Medora Campground is on the west side of town. Pay attention to the mileage from road intersections or you may drive past it. They have a large over-the-lane sign but not a highway marker for the turn. Sites are dirt and mostly level. The campground is close to the entrance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park's south entrance. The Medora Musical, a nightly western amphitheater performance, is across the road from the campground. Tickets to the musical can be purchased at the campground and they have a shuttle available. Campground staff was helpful.

The West Glacier KOA is located about 2 miles from the town of West Glacier and the entrance to Glacier National Park. It is easily accessed from Highway 2 and has a paved road access. The campground has very nice office, pool, playground, and outside summer dining facilities. Summer flower arrangements and other landscaping are very attractive. There is a large pet walk area. The campground is framed by tall pines and mountains. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Numerous cottages are available also. Some of the narrower tree-area sites are tight for larger RVS with slide-outs.

This campground is family-run in a rural setting, accessible on paved roads. They serve a roast beef dinner each Fri. and Sat. night and also offer barn dance lessons and other musical events. The campsites are set around a pond. Canoes are available to use. Toilet and shower facilities are available on the main side of the grounds but not the far side. Beautifully framed by the Canadian Rockies and an hour away from Waterton National Park.

A nice park with long drive off a secondary highway. Follow the directions closely or you will get lost. There is a country atmosphere but next to town. There is little if any road noise. The campground roads are a bit narrow and some trees need to be trimmed. The sites were mostly level with some sites more suited to trailers than motorhomes. The utilities were new and well layed out. The restrooms were very nice with individual rooms containing an bath and shower. There was a nice small swimming pool. The campground has a large recreational hall.

Completely relandscaped in the last three years. Wonderful large level sites with table and fire pits. All sites overlooked the lake. There are three boat docks for fishing. There is a roped swimming area. The campground has a small store where boats, kayaks and pedal boats can be rented. The owners run the store and take you to your site. There are some seasonal sites, all well kept. The restrooms were older but clean. We stayed three days.

We were there on a Friday night so the CG was full. The bathrooms & laundry areas were horrible. Many of the water hydrants leaked, and I had to walk through mud to hook up. The camp sites are small and close together. The drives were very narrow. We were located on a drive curve with no safe place to park the tow vehicle. Excellent location to Storm Lake. Storm Lake was beautiful with great biking trails and near to the new water park.

We were there on a Sunday and the campground was unoccupied. Most of the sites are permanent but everything was new and well kept. There were mostly newer RV's in the park. The site is not particularly well laid out. The roads are all gravel and hilly. The sites were level and had concrete strips for the wheels and leveling jacks. The new community building was the nicest we have seen in many years. All private showers and restrooms. The owner and attendants took us directly to the site and helped us park.

An RV park built in 1976 and never updated. The park is mostly permanent units that are reasonably maintained. The electric disconnects are very old and only 30 amp. The drives are very narrow and hardly adequate for a new motorhome. The curves are tight for any unit. Many sites are level but are grass or rock. The park is adequately maintained. The owner and staff nice. The restrooms and showers are old but clean. There is lake access for swimming and boating. The lake is shallow in this area. We were here on Monday and the park was empty.

This was a quality campground with large solid grassy sites and lots of trees. The campground is nicely cared for. The restrooms and showers were newer and very clean. There are many permanent units but they are well kept and of pleasing appearance. The playground area is equipped with climbing gym, swings, slides and volley ball net. There is a small store and friendly staff. Rainy River Marina is at the campground but not affiliated with it. Several fishing resorts are 2-3 miles away. We were going to spend the night and ended up staying seven days. During the week we had the campground to ourselves. On the weekend the site were all full.
